PARSA 2020 Conference

We are very excited to invite you to join us for the 4th International Congress on Parasites of Wildlife (ICPOW) which will take place at Skukuza in the Kruger National Park, South Africa. This conference is hosted by the Parasitological Society of Southern Africa and will thus also include the 49th annual meeting of the society. The conference will be held from 6–9 September 2020.

The International Congress on Parasites of Wildlife is held every three years in the Kruger National Park and is the perfect opportunity to meet and engage with fellow parasitologists from around the world.

More details are available on the conference website (http://savetcon.savetcon.co.za/icpow2020/). The save the date (with all of the important dates) is below.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Please note: STATEMENT ON COVID-19

At present, the risk to the general South African population from COVID-19 is low, with the nominal confirmed COVID-19 cases in South Africa in returned travellers. At this time, the planning for the 4th International Congress on Parasites of Wildlife is well underway and will proceed as planned.  However, we will communicate any updates/changes to the status of the congress should the need arise. We do however recommend that people that are unwell with cough or fever or other respiratory symptoms not attend public events or gatherings. This is particularly so for people who have recently travelled from overseas.
